Project : Othello Game

We are planning to make a very interesting game of
Othello which can be played between two human players
or a human player and the computer depending on the user's
choice.It is a game in which one has to play the game
well from the beginning itself.We aim to make a graphical
user interface for the game and also the strategy of
how the computer will make his move when the player
decides to play with the computer.

Rules Of The Game

In this game there is a square board of 8x8 size.
There are four pieces 2 white and two black at the
beginning of the game.The game is played and the player
has to try to sandwich the pieces of the other player
between two of his pieces and the game is continued like
this till no one can continue playing further.At the
end the number of pieces belonging to each player are counted
and the player with more number of pieces is declared
the winner.
