Applications are invited for one post of Project Associate for maintenance and handling of research equipments such as differential thermal analyzer, contact angle goniometer, and micro-tribometer, etc., in the Biomaterials Processing and Characterization Lab of Department of Materials Sciences & Engineering, IIT Kanpur.

Minimum Qualification: B. Tech. or MSc.

Work Experience:

The applicant should have worked in a research lab and exposed themselves to the academic working environment. Knowledge of sample sectioning and polishing, handling of research samples, and exposure to thermal analyzer is essential.

Microstructural and phase analysis, managing paperwork for ordering equipments and consumables, knowledge of entering data in computer and drafting letters is desirable.

Salary Range: Rs. 15000-1500-30000.

The post is purely temporary, and is for duration of one year only. Interested candidates must apply by 5 pm on Jan. 15, 2014 on a plain paper giving full details of qualifications and experience.
