Applications are invited for a temporary position in the project entitled “Frugal Innovation in Design and Technology” in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences.

The job profile is as follows:

Name of Position: Project Engineer

Qualifications: M.Tech or B.Tech. + 3 Year work experience

Salary range: 22000-2200-44000

Applicant should have:

Good exposure and experience to conceive training modules for the up gradation and use of existing technical skills in both design and technology in design communities at the grass-root level

Appropriate knowledge of indigenous technology, design practices and systems of measurement and recognition, pertaining to frugal innovation in design and technology

Ability to plan and coordinate engineering research studies to improve process development techniques

Ability to independently evaluate, select and apply standardized scientific or engineering procedures and techniques

Technical aptitude in preparation of reports, papers, presentations, proposals, etc. and presenting papers at technical meetings as well as involving in collaborative projects

Duration of appointment : upto one year.
