Sindhu Central University (currently mentored by IIT Kanpur) invites dynamic and motivated candidates to apply for the position of Project Engineer for a project aimed at the field installation of a wind-solar hybrid system and Energy Technology Laboratory setup in the Sindhu Central University. The position is currently till July 31, 2026.

Remuneration will be as per IIT Kanpur norms and the candidate’s experience.

Primary Job Responsibilities are:

Installation and commissioning of Wind-Solar hybrid field lab of 100 kW range.
To oversee the setup, integration, and commissioning of laboratory equipment related to sustainable and renewable energy systems.
Coordinate with vendors, researchers, and contractors for equipment procurement, installation, and operation.
Provide technical support for energy systems involving solar, wind, and other renewable sources adapted for high-altitude environments.
Assist in research, testing, and data analysis for pilot projects and field deployments.
Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and project compliance standards.

Eligibility Criteria:

M.Tech/M.E. in Energy Technology /Mechanical/Aerospace or related disciplines OR
B.Tech/B.E. in the above disciplines with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in energy systems, lab setup, or project execution.

Desirable Skills:

Experience with renewable energy technologies and systems.
Familiarity with working in remote or high-altitude environments.
Hands-on skills in instrumentation, data logging, and system integration.
Data Analysis and interpretation.
Strong organizational and communication abilities
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders.
Takes ownership of all responsibilities and honours commitments

Duration: Contractual (Initially for 1 year, extendable based on performance and project requirements)

Salary Range: Rs. 31600-2600-78400/- per month based on qualification and experience.
