Applications are invited for temporary or contractual post of Senior Project Associate under the project entitled “Centre of Excellence for Large Area Flexible Electronics at IIT Kanpur” at Samtel Centre for Display Technologies (SCDT), IIT Kanpur.
For the Position of: “Senior Project Associate”
Minimum Qualification: B.Tech + 1 year experience Or M.Sc. + 1 Year experience.
Desirable Qualification:
- M.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or M.Sc. in physics + 1 year relevant experience
- Experience in operating vacuum thin film deposition deposition equipments
- Experience in trouble shooting in ultrahigh vacuum systems related equipments like compressor, cryopumps and Turbo molecular pumps
- Knowledge about thin film deposition processes and characterization technologies
- Basic knowledge about theory and working principles of OLED or solar cells
- Used to working in clean room environment.
Nature of work:
- Fabrication of OLED devices by thermal evaporation
- Development of process SOPs
- Extensive documentation and reporting of developed processes and recipes.
Salary: Rs. 21600-1800-54000/- per month based on qualification
Duration of appointment: 1 Year Contract or till end of Project whichever is earlier.
