Applications are invited for temporary & contractual post of Project Technical Supervisor under the project entitled “Centre of Excellence for Large Area of Flexible Electronics at IIT Kanpur” at Samtel Centre for Display Technologies (SCDT), IIT Kanpur.

Minimum Qualification: B.Sc. + 8 years relevant Exp. Or 3 years Engg. Diploma + 8 years of relevant Exp

Desirable Experience and Expertise: The candidate should have at least 8 years of experience in monitoring and maintenance in the following areas:

• Experience working in Class 10,000 or better cleanroom environments
• Strong knowledge of photolithography, and dry and wet etching processes
• Hands-on experience with thin-film deposition techniques such as PVD, CVD, and ALD
• Experience with electrical and optical characterization techniques, including I–V, C–V, ellipsometry, microscopy, profilometry, etc.

Nature of Work:

The candidate’s tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Developing etching processes for thin-film electronic devices
• Developing photolithography processes
• Fabricating thin-film devices such as TFTs, diodes, etc.
• Implementing work procedures and maintaining quality standards
• Preparing technical presentations and reports

Salary range: Rs. 23000-2000-59000/- (per month based on qualification)

Term of Appointment: The appointment will be purely on temporary and contractual basis initially for a period of three years or end of the project, whichever is earlier
