Applications are invited for temporary & contractual post of Project Technical Officer under the project entitled “Centre of Excellence for Large Area of Flexible Electronics at IIT Kanpur” at Samtel Centre for Display Technologies (SCDT), IIT Kanpur.

Minimum Qualification: B.Sc + 15 years of relevant experience OR 3 years Engg. Diploma + 15 years of relevant experience

Desirable experience:Candidate should have at-least 15 years' experience in monitory and maintenance in the following areas

  • Experience in working in a Class 10,000 Cleanroom environment.
  • Practical knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and CCTV surveillance systems.
  • Experience in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of BMS and electrical systems.
  • Knowledge of control panels, sensors, and automation systems.
  • Familiarity with vacuum systems, gas lines, safety systems, civil, air-conditioning, and electrical works.
  • Working knowledge of UPS systems, power supplies, and pneumatic equipment and components.
  • Ability to coordinate with vendors and service teams for maintenance and repair work.
  • Experience in documentation of preventive maintenance activities and cleanroom consumables management.

Salary range: Rs. : 29000-2400-72200/- (per month based on qualification)

Term of Appointment: The appointment will be purely on temporary and contractual basis initially for a period of three years or end of the project, whichever is earlier
