Vacancy for One Research Associate I
Applications are invited for the post of research associate I (1 nos.) in the field of Quantum Materials and Devices funded by National Quantum Mission (NQM) at IIT Kanpur.
Minimum Qualification:
PhD in Condensed Matter Physics/ Optics/ Electrical Engineering/ Material Science Engineering
Desirable Skills
- Experience in working in an experimental laboratory with a high preference for optics laboratory and 2D materials.
- Experience in coding with Python or Labview for interfacing.
- Experience in nanofabrication with high preference for electron beam lithography.
Job Profile
- Candidate will be responsible for research work which includes fabrication of devices with 2D materials, optics measurement with device fabricated, coding to interface instruments as well as analyse measurement data for the project.
- Candidate will assist PI in other project activities.
Consolidated Salary: INR 58000 + 18% HRA per month.
Nature of Position: Temporary / Contractual.
Duration of appointment: The appointment is for 1 year.
