Applications are invited for two posts (1 male & 1 female) of Assistant Project Manager (Gym Instructor) in the project “Student Physical Activity”, IIT Kanpur

Duration of appointment: Maximum One year from the date of appointment (Extendable based on the performance)

Salary: 13200-1100-33000 consolidate (Higher start may be possible in case of experienced and meritorious candidate)

Essential Qualification: Post Graduate degree or Graduate Degree + 3 years post degree relevant experience (from recognised Gym or Sports Institutions)

Desirable:

• Candidate having qualification M.P.Ed./ B.P.Ed. along with the below mentioned certification will be preferred
• Candidate should have certification from
  • ACE India: Personal Trainer/ Group Fitness Instructor or
  • Indian Association of Fitness Professional (IAFP): Personal Trainer/ Group Fitness Instructor or
  • Talwalkars Certified Personal Trainer (TCPT) certification or
  • National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) India: Certified Personal Trainer/ Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
• Candidate should have participation in National or State Level or All India Inter University participation in Bodybuilding or Powerlifting sports
• Candidate should have sound knowledge in conducting the fitness/ Gym classes.
• Candidate should have knowledge of medical exercise which can improve the health of every individual.
• Candidate should be willing to perform in shift wise classes, also in odd hours.
• Higher experience will be considered as an added advantage.

Job Responsibilities: Need to work in close contact with the students and campus residents by looking their daily exercises, supporting their health topics (like - machine workout, Isometrics and body sculpting program).
