Advertisement for Project Vacancy (Project Technician)

Applications are invited for one post of Project Technician in a project (sponsored by Lohia Corp.) entitled, “Investigation Of The Microstructure, Phase And Degradation Of Polymeric Materials - Phase II” in the Department of Materials Sciences & Engineering, IIT Kanpur.

Minimum Qualification: B.Sc. + 4 years relevant experience OR 3 years Engg. Diploma + 4 Years relevant experience OR High School + ITI + 9 years relevant experience

Work Experience:
The applicant should have a strong background and knowledge on how to prepare samples (sectioning, mounting, polishing), operate furnaces, and be acquainted with gold-coating. Person should have practical experience in the mentioned domain. Working knowledge of computer-based office applications (MS Office, etc.) is preferred.

Salary Range: Rs. 12000 - 1200 - 24000.
