Vibration & Dynamics Laboratory

Applications are invited for temporary or contractual post of Project Technical Officer under the project entitled “INFRASTRUCTURE TECHNOLGY RESEARH AND DEVELOPMENT-PROJECT NO: DORA/ME/2016455” Department of Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum Qualification:

3 years Engineering Diploma in Electronics Engineering +15 years relevant experience B.Sc+15 years relevant experience or

Desirable Qualification: 3 years diploma in electronics engineering.

Essential Experience: Candidate should have hands-on working experience with various laboratory testing & measuring instruments like function generators, oscilloscope, power supply etc & research instruments related to measuring vibration like mechanical & electrodynamics shakers, FFT Analyzers accelerometers, charge amplifier, impedance hammers & national instruments various modules etc. Apart from technical experience the selected candidate should have experience in maintenance & fault finding & repairing of these instruments & should have enough experience of maintaining stock ledger & the purchase process of a reputed institute like iits.

Salary: Rs. 20000-2000-40000 - per month based on qualification & experience.

Duration of appointment: The post is purely temporary & contractual and is for the duration of one year or till the end of project whichever is earlier.
