Applications are invited for temporary or contractual post of Senior Project Associate under the project titled “Net Zero” at Kotak School of Sustainability, IIT Kanpur.

Minimum Qualification:

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, or Electronics & Communication Engineering, + 4 years of relevant Experience.
• M.E/M.Tech in Power Engineering or related specialization from a recognised university or equivalent, + 2 years of relevant experience.
• Doctoral degree in Power Engineering or related specialization.

Desirable Experience in:

• Execution of electrical and instrumentation projects such as solar PV systems, battery energy storage systems, and smart grid technologies.
• Operation and maintenance of electrical systems in industrial or institutional setups.
• Implementing energy efficiency measures, conducting energy audits, and monitoring energy consumption and system performance.
• Hands-on experience in installation, integration, and troubleshooting of electrical and control systems.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant electrical safety codes, standards, and quality assurance practices.
• Strong coordination, project management, and technical reporting skills.

Salary: Rs. 25900 – 2100 – 63700 Per month

Duration of Appointment:

• 1-year contract, extendable based on performance and project requirements.
