Applications are invited for temporary or contractual post of Senior Project Associate under the project titled "Net Zero" at Kotak School of Sustainability, IIT Kanpur.

Minimum Qualification:

• B.E./ B.Tech in Civil Engineering , Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline, + 4 years of relevant experience.
• M.E/ M.Tech in Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university + 2 years of relevant experience.
• Doctoral degree in Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering or related specializations .

Desirable Skills:

• Knowledge in estimating runoffs, and design of stormwaterdrainages.
• Knowledge on design and operations of sewage collection , treatment (STPs), and recycling systems
• Experience in the design and operations of rainwater harvesting systems and artificial groundwater recharge systems.
• Hands-on involvement in water and wastewater treatment processes, including smart water systems and distribution networks.
• Ability to perform water audits, monitor water qual ity data, and implement water conservation
• Experience with installation , integration, and maintenance of IoT-based monitoring , smart metering, and other automated systems for water

• In addition, candidate should have project management and technical reporting skills, including strong project coordination skills and ability to manage vendors, contractors, and field teams.

Salary: 25900-2100-63700 per month

Duration of Appointment:

• 1-year contract, extendable based on performance and project requirements.
