Applications are invited for a “ Principal Project Associate” in the project entitled " Automated system for Cybersecurity Policies, Assessments, Audits, Ranking and IR ".

Qualifications and skills

  • Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 8 Years of experience
OR
  • Ph. D. degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 4 Years of experience

The Principal Project Associate will architect, implement, and optimize AI-driven, compliance-aware systems—spanning backend APIs, AI/LLM model integration, and full-stack product engineering—with a strong focus on cybersecurity intelligence and secure software design.

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity domains, compliance frameworks, and secure coding principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and ship functional AI-powered products or research prototypes.

Salary: Principal Project Associate Rs 49,000/- + HRA (as per MEITY norms)

Preferred:

  • Python, FastAPI/Django, SQL/NoSQL, RESTful APIs.
  • React/Next.js or similar front-end frameworks.
  • LLM frameworks (LangChain, Hugging Face, OpenAI, Ollama).
  • Cloud deployment, Docker, Kubernetes

Day-to-Day Activities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python (FastAPI/Django) based on a microservices architecture.
  • Develop and maintain secure RESTful and GraphQL APIs for integrating cybersecurity policy management, compliance intelligence, and ranking modules.
  • Implement automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices to ensure application reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Develop and integrate AI-powered modules for automated cybersecurity policy generation and recommendations (CcurePolicyPro).
  • Build intelligent benchmarking, compliance interpretation, report generation, and summarization features using Generative AI (CcureRank).
  • Collaborate in developing Explainable AI (XAI) solutions to improve transparency, traceability, and trust in AI-assisted compliance decisions.
  • Translate cybersecurity regulations and standards (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, DPDP Act, etc.) into machine-readable rules and intelligent compliance engines.
  • Develop and maintain responsive frontend dashboards using React.js and Next.js for cybersecurity analytics, policy management, and compliance visualization.
  • Support application deployment, containerization, orchestration, and maintenance across cloud and on-premises environments using Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps tools.
  • Prepare technical documentation, project reports, research publications, patents, and coordinate with project investigators, research collaborators, and team members through technical discussions, code reviews, and progress meetings.
