Applications are invited for a “Project Engineer” in the project entitled "Smart Grid Control Centre".

Number of positions: One (1)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field

Salary: Project Engineer Rs (31600 – 2600 – 78400)

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years in Python development
  • Extensive experience with Python/JAVA for building scalable RESTful APIs.
  • Proven expertise with Fast API or SpringBoot framework for developing production-grade APIs.
  • Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Hands-on experience with containerization tools like Docker & Kubernetes.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
  • Knowledge of cloud deployment environments, preferably AWS or Azure.

Preferred:

  • Experience deploying solutions on cloud platforms like AWS / Azure.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
  • Understanding of microservices
  • Exposure to Kubernetes or other container orchestrators. 

Day-to-Day Activities

  • Develop, test, and deploy REST APIs and backend microservices using Python/JAVA.
  • Collaborate regularly with product, front-end, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and resolve performance bottlenecks.
  • Automate deployment pipelines, infrastructure provisioning, and testing workflows.
  • Monitor system health, review logs, and plan capacity enhancements.
  • Document APIs, architecture design, and operational procedures for ongoing support.
