Project Assistant Position in Power Electronics

Applications are invited for one position of Project Assistant, initially for a period of one year (extendable depending on the performance) in the ANRF sponsored project entitled "Design and Development of High-Power Density Solid-State Transformer Based Medium Voltage (11 kV) Grid Connected EV Charging Station With DC-Fast Charger and Renewable Energy Integration" at IIT Kanpur.

Minimum Academic Qualification

Graduate degree in electrical engineering + at least 6 months of laboratory experience.

Desirable experience

1. Hands on experience on working with electrical engineering lab.
2. Soldering experience of surface-mount device (SMD).
3. Lab management skill.
4. Basic idea about construction of an electrical circuits.
5. Basic idea about power electronic component, converters and its circuits.
6. Instruments Handled: oscilloscope, current probes, voltage probes, multi-meter, auto-transformer, etc

Salary (monthly): 27000 + HRA
