Applications are invited for the post of Project Executive Officer for the office of the Dean of Research and Development, IIT Kanpur on a purely temporary and contractual basis for a period of one year. The period may be extended based on requirements.

Qualifications:

MSc/M.Tech

Desirable: Ph.D.

Job Specifications:

Should have experience in writing technical reports, project proposals for external funding agencies, experience in data collection and representation in graphical forms. People who have worked with national and international funding agencies will be an added advantage. Should have excellent written and oral communication skills as well.

• Identifying potential funding sources from across the globe, staying up-to-date with funding opportunities, and exploring partnerships.
• Liaising with funding agencies for various proposal related logistics
• Assisting faculty in crafting well-structured and compelling proposal applications, ensuring adherence to guidelines and formats
• Actively working towards increasing the institute's funding and research portfolio
• Any other R&D related work, assigned from time to time

Duration: Initially for one year and extendable on the basis of performance.

Salary: In the range Rs. SR2: 50400-4200-126000.

Salary scale will be fixed based on the prior experience and credentials of the candidate.
