Job Description: Project Associate

Role Overview:
The roles refer the key responsible like aeromodelling, fabrication, assembly, integration, and field-testing of UAVs and flying prototypes, including fixed-wing, VTOL, and hybrid platforms. The candidate should have hands-on expertise with materials, propulsion systems, radio-control systems, and flight operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabrication and assembly of UAV airframes using composite materials, foam, balsa, carbon fiber, etc.
- Installation of propulsion systems (IC/electric motors), servos, ESCs, avionics, landing gear, and payloads.
- Conduct ground and flight testing — including taxi tests, tuning, calibration, and troubleshooting.
- Repair, maintenance, and modification of airframes after crashes or flight iterations.
- Assist in RC flight operations — take-off, landing, mission flying (manual & autopilot).
- Support design team with feasibility feedback on manufacturability and aerodynamic performance.
- Maintain workshop tools, consumables, safety protocols, and flight logs.
Required Qualifications:
- B.Tech, or Post Graduate, or graduate +3 Years experience
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong knowledge of RC systems, servos, propulsion, battery & power systems.
- Ability to interpret CAD drawings and fabrication plans.
- Experience operating RC transmitters, flight controllers, mission planners.
- Proven hands-on aeromodelling experience (fixed wing or multirotor).
- Experience in composite layup, vacuum bagging, and mold-based fabrication.
- Knowledge of autopilot systems (Pixhawk, Ardupilot, PX4, etc.).
- Experience in tuning PIDs and troubleshooting in the field.
