Applications are invited for the position of Regulatory Research Fellow (01 position) to work in the project “Framework Development for Implementing Demand Response Program” funded by Forum of Regulators (FOR). The Post is purely temporary and on a contractual basis.
Minimum Qualification:
Ph.D. (Power Systems, Energy Systems, Renewable Energy, Power Management, Energy Economics, or related fields)
Or,
M. E./ M. Tech./MS (Power Systems, Energy Systems, Renewable Energy Technologies, Power Management or related fields) + 4 years’ relevant experience
Or,
Master’s (Power Sector Regulation, Public Policy, Regulatory Affairs, Energy Economics, or related fields) + 4 years’ of relevant experience.
Or,
B.Tech. with M.B.A./eMasters (Power Sector Regulation, Power Systema, Energy Management, Renewable Integration or related fields) from the reputed Universities/Institutes + 4 years’ relevant experience
Or,
B.Tech (Power Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, Energy, or related fields) from the reputed Universities/Institutes + 6 years’ relevant experience
Desirable:
- Relevant experience in the power system, power sector, power market, or energy sector, with a strong understanding of the regulatory and policy aspects of the Indian power sector.
- Proven expertise in data analysis, modelling, research, and problem-solving.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, ability to work independently, and coordinate collaborative teams/activities.
- Experience in project management, stake. engagement, and handling multiple concurrent tasks/projects.
- Proven track record in preparing high-quality technical reports and academic publications.
Term of Appointment: The appointment will be purely temporary and contractual, initially for a period of one year, and may be extended based on satisfactory performance
Salary Range: Rs. 60000–6300–123000 PM Consolidated
(Higher starting salary may be considered for exceptionally qualified/experienced candidates as per IITK Rules)
