Applications are invited for the position of Project Engineer to work in the project “Centre for Energy Regulation Project No. 2019310”. The Post is purely temporary and on contractual basis.

Minimum qualification, Desirable experience and other terms for the above post are as follows:

Minimum Qualification:

Project Engineer (01 position):

M.E./ M. Tech (Power Engineering / Energy Engineering / Electrical Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering) with knowledge in Power Sector / Power Market / Energy Sector

Or

B. Tech (Electrical Engineering/ Energy Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering) + 3 Years relevant experience in the field of Power System Optimisation / Power Sector / Power Market / Energy Sector,

Desirable: Relevant experience in power system modelling/ analytics preferably with expertise in GAMS/ python

Term of Appointment: The appointment will be purely on a temporary and contractual basis initially for a period of one year, which may be extended depending on performance.

Salary Range:

Project Engineer: Rs. 31600-2600-78400 PM Consolidated

(Higher starting salary may be considered for exceptionally qualified/experienced candidates as per IITK Rules)
