Applications are invited for the post of Project Manager in the Office of Faculty Affairs at IIT Kanpur. Post is purely temporary and contractual basis for a period of one year till the end of project, whichever is earlier. Details of requirement are as below:

Name of the post: Project Manager

Scale of pay: Rs. 24000 - 2000 - 60000

No. of posts: 01 (One nos.)

Minimum Qualification:

Post graduate degree + 8 years of relevant experience
Or
Graduate with 15 years of relevant experience at appropriate level

Desirable Experience: Candidates should have requisite experience of the following areas:

  1. Logistics and Travel Arrangements (During Selection Committees, DTA Function, Foundation Day, Departmental Review Committee Etc.)
  2. New Joining Related Work
  3. Payment Records/Purchase Store
  4. Transit Accommodation to New Faculty
  5. Maintenance of Registers (Non-consumable, Consumable & LTAS)
  6. Payment of Honorarium to experts
  7. Over Viewing the Maintenance of SBRA
  8. Office Space Management for Newly Appointed Faculties
  9. Management of various events
  10. TA & Imprest
