We invite applications for the position of “Project Multi Skilled Worker (Level 1)” for office-related, lab-related and miscellaneous tasks in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering.

(I) Department: Computer Science and Engineering

(II) Post: Project Multi Skilled Worker (Level 1)

(III) Number of Posts: 1 (one)

(IV) Nature of Post: This post is purely temporary and on contractual basis. The initial appointment will be for 1 year and may be extended based on evaluation of satisfactory performance. Standard benefits available to project employees will be offered as per institute norms.

(V) Consolidated Salary Range: ₹ 10000-500-28000 (commensurate with experience)

(VI) Minimum Qualification and Experience: 8th Class + 2 years of relevant experience

(VII) Desirable Qualification and Experience: Good communication skills and experience in office-related tasks such as peon, courier, delivery, etc. The candidate should have work experience in an academic setting (office and/or laboratory) with a favourable track-record. Candidates with demonstrable evidence of satisfying the job description given below will be preferred.

(VIII) Job Specification: The responsibilities would include office-related work (couriering and delivery of documents and/or minor equipment, peon-services) and miscellaneous tasks assigned by PI.

(X) Selection Process: The selection will be based on either an online or offline interview of the shortlisted candidates. The Selection Committee reserves the right to fix suitable criteria for shortlisting of eligible candidates, as well as increase or decrease the number of vacancies and duration of appointment for eligible candidates who satisfy qualification and experience criteria. Applicants who do not meet the minimum qualification and experience criteria will not be shortlisted. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. Shortlisted candidates will be informed via email about the date, time, mode (online/offline) and venue/link of the interview. In case of an offline/in-person interview, no TA/DA will be paid for appearing for the interview.
