Applications are invited for the post of Project Scientist at BSBE-MFCEM, IIT Kanpur. The post is purely temporary and on contractual basis.

Title of the Project: Testing charges for equipment usage and vector production

Essential qualification:

• Ph.D. degree in a Biotechnology / Biosciences / Biochemistry / Bioengineering or any relevant discipline.
  OR
• MSc/MTech degree in a Biotechnology / Biosciences / Biochemistry / Bioengineering / Biophysics or any relevant discipline with at least 3 years of relevant research experience (post MSc/MTech) and at least one research publication in an SCI-indexed journal.

Desirable: Prior experience in cGMP facility for biopharma products

Salary: 57,600/ month (consolidated) (31600-2600-78400)

Duration: Initially for 1 year and based on the performance extendable further.
