Accounts Section

Applications are invited for the following post in Accounts Section, IIT Kanpur in the Project titled “Implementation of New Office Automation”. Project No. IITK/DORA/2017428.

About the project: The work is related to administrative in nature.

The appointment is purely contractual and duration of contract is five years (3 Year + 2 Year).

(1) Senior Project Manager: Post Graduate degree + 12 years of relevant experience ‘OR’ (CA/ICWA/CS) + 5 years of relevant experience at supervisory level in a Govt. organization or in educational institute or in organization of repute.

Desirable: The candidate should have experience of supervising and handling various accounts, cash books and ledgers, preparation of Income Tax Returns and other statutory payments. The candidate having experience in preparation of annual accounts of an academic administration & education management in government/autonomous institution of repute would be preferred. Basic knowledge of computers i.e. MS Office/ Excel/ Power Point/ Access etc., handling various accounts, financial procedures and reconciliation etc.

Job Profile: To work independently in the part of accounts and maintain all book of accounts, work on financial accounting package i.e. Tally, ERP Package etc.

(2) Deputy Project Manager: CA/ICWA/CS ‘OR’ Post Graduate (MBA /MCA /M.Com. /M. Sc. / M.A. + 5 years relevant experience ‘OR’ Graduate (B.Sc. / BA / B.Com. / BBA / BCA) + 08 years relevant experience with excellent HR/PR/Counselling skills, excellent command over English.

Desirable:
The candidate should have experience of supervising and handling various accounts, maintaining cash books and ledgers, assisting in preparation of Income Tax Returns, other statutory payments and knowledge of handling PFMS-EAT Module. Experience of minimum 05 years in an academic administration & education management in government/autonomous institution of repute. Basic knowledge of computers i.e. MS Office/ Excel/ Power Point/ Access etc., handling various accounts, financial procedures and reconciliation etc.

(3) Assistant Project Manager:
Post Graduate (MBA/ MCA/M.Com. /M. Sc. / M.A. Or Graduate (B.Sc. / BA / B.Com. BBA / BCA) + 3 years relevant experience.

Desirable: The candidate should have three years of handling various accounts, maintaining cash books and ledgers etc., preparation of BRS, handling GST, Income Tax related issues etc.
