Applications are invited for a post of Project Associate (RPI) for project entitled “Flight lab Training Program”. The duration of the appointment will be initially for a period of Six Month which may be extended depending upon the requirement. The appointment is purely temporary & contractual basis.

Minimum Qualification:

1) B.Tech OR Post Graduate OR Graduate + 3 years relevant experience.

2) DGCA certified RPAS instructor for rotorcraft , small class upto 25 kg.

3) Minimum 200 hours of operating experience, as an instructor in small class drone.

4) Experience in maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of small class drones.

5) Experience in troubleshooting of drone simulator.

Desirable Qualification and experience:

1) Experience in analysis of drone parameters.

2) Experience in handling software related issues.

3) Experience in operating and maintaining fixed wing and hybrid drones.

Job Specification:

The Candidate will be expected to handle the work such as:

  • Develop and deliver theoretical training modules, including flight planning, drone systems, navigation, and emergency procedures.
  • Provide hands-on simulation training to ensure pilots are fully competent before going in real-world scenarios
  • Conducting hands-on sessions, explaining drone components and operations, ensuring safety protocols, and guiding students during flight practices.
  • Explain technical concepts in a simplified manner.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in drone regulations and communicate these updates to trainees and the organization .
  • Prepare and comply requirements related to internal audit.
  • Prepare and revise training and procedure manual.
  • Responsible for maintenance of training records.
  • Conduct assessment and evaluation of competency of trainee in theoretical knowledge, simulator, assembly/disassembly as well as for practical flying sessions.
  • Updation of software related to simulator and general upkeep of simulator facility.
  • Renewal of insurance related to RPAS.
  • Ensuring pre entry requirements of candidates before initiation of RPAS training.
  • Compliance of post training requirements for issue of remote pilot certificate (RPC) from DGCA
  • Monitoring of all batteries, related procedures and updation of their logbooks.
  • Preparation of end of the course report.
  • Updation of all logbooks and documents related to RPAS.
  • Responsible for adhering to all safety protocols along with SOPs for self and trainee at all times during practical flying operations.
  • He/she is also expected to assist in handle various administrative work.
