ITU Asia-Pacific Centre of Excellence (ITU ASP CoE) Programme on "Internet of Things: Technology, Standards and Planning”, 8 to 11 July 2017, Tehran


A training program is being organised by ITU jointly with the Faculty of ICT, Ministry of ICT (I.R. Iran) and the China Academy of ICT under the auspices of the I ITU Asia-Pacific Centre of Excellence (ITU ASP CoE). The Program is on "Internet of Things: Technology, Standards and Planning” which will be conducted from 8 to 11 July 2017.

This program aims

  • To provide an overview on the ICT ecosystem and enabling environment to foster Internet of Things (including technology, standards, cross-sectoral policy and regulatory frameworks, and applications) deployments
  • To provide an understanding of the technologies and the standards relating to the Internet of Things
  • To develop skills on IoT technical planning.

This training is targeted at managers, engineers and technical staff from regulators, policy makers, telecom operators and academia, who are interested in IoT planning.  Registration for this program should be made by completing the attached registration form (Annex 2) no later than 9 June 2017.  The training is available free of charge on this occasion with the kind support of the Faculty of ICT - Ministry of ICT (I.R. Iran) and the CAICT.

Those participants requiring an entry visa are requested to contact their local Embassy of I.R.
