Applications are invited for one post of Deputy Project Manager in the project "SPEC WAGES", IIT Kanpur

Duration of appointment: Maximum One year from the date of appointment or date of expiry of project, whichever is earlier (Extendable based on the performance)

Salary: 19200-1600-48000 consolidate (Higher start may be possible in case of experienced and meritorious candidate)

Minimum Qualification: Post Graduate (MBA/ MCA/ M.Com./ M.Sc./ MA) + 05 years of relevant experience or Graduate (B.Sc/ BA/ B.Com/ BBA/ BCA/ LLB) + 08 years of relevant experience at appropriate level.


  1. Certificate/Diploma in accounts
  2. PG Diploma in computer applications
  3. Working experience in Online Tender process/ Purchase/ Procurement procedures/ Comparative statements/ Knowledge of GEM portal
  4. Hand on experience in maintaining Stock Registers, Account statements/ Letter writing, Maintaining office records, Audit and stock verification
  5. Knowledge of Sports Equipments/ Items/ Sports Fields and their maintenance
  6. Hand on experience in handling the store and accounting for issue, receipt & return
  7. Should have excellent Communication Skills in Hindi & English, possess pleasant personality and should be able to communicate with students, campus residents & Institute Guests
  8. Administrative and management skills, knowledge of recruitment process
  9. Efficiency in coordination with students and coaching staff
  10. Willing to work in split/odd duty hours (Early morning & Late evening)

Job Responsibilities: Online & offline correspondence, online tender process, procurement through GeM, maintenance of stock registers, issue-receipt and return records, No-DUES of students and accounting related to expenditures at PE Section and dealing with matters related to maintenance of sports equipments as well as institute sports facilities.
