Abstract Format

If you are giving a talk or presenting a poster, you will be asked to upload your abstract online during the registration. Only abstracts in zip (.zip) format will be accepted. The abstracts of all talks and posters will appear in the abstract book for the conference. In order to streamline this, we are providing you the format for the abstract.

The abstract has to fit on one side of an A4 sheet of paper. The format of the abstract can be MS Word or LaTEX. If you are submitting a LaTEX document, then you have to also upload the figure(s) in .pdf format. Zip both the latex file (.tex) and the figure (.pdf) into a single file and upload the file. Even if you are preparing your abstract using MS Word, zip the resulting (.doc) file to create a zip (.zip) file. We have attached sample abstracts below. These documents can be edited to prepare your abstract. There are some instructions within the documents on how to prepare them.

  • Abstract in MS Word format. In this case you will zip this file to create a .zip file and upload it during the registration process.
  • Tex file of abstract in LaTEX format. This can be compiled with the figure file using the pdflatex command to generate this pdf file. In this case you will zip the files abstractformat.tex and Yourfigure.pdf into a single file and uplodad that file during the registration process.
  • The Registration for TCS10 is now open. Click on the Registration Link and go to the links at the bottom of the page.
