Research Overview

My research interests include understanding the transport of complex fluids in the porous media for energy and environment-related applications. I am also interested in understanding the assembly of surfactants, nanoparticles and macromolecules in the bulk and at various interfaces. I am particularly interested in using this knowledge for developing improved methods for oil and gas recovery from conventional and unconventional oil and gas reservoir, and for developing methods for removing contaminants from groundwater, produced fluids from oil & gas reservoirs, and other industrial wastes.
