The Hale Bopp
        The comet was discovered on July 23rd, 1995 by Alan Hale of Mexico and Thomas Bopp of Arizona. The comet made its closest approach to the Earth on March 23, 1997. The comet's orbit is pretty large(around 4000 years), but keeps on changing due to interaction with planets.
