THE ULTIMATE 3D CREATION CONTEST |
The purpose of this competition is to evaluate your ability, skill and knowledge of computer character animation using 3ds max. This event includes two contests:- |
Modeling contest: Participants will be given an 'on the spot' topic which would be modeling of a scene, object or a character. Judging would be based on modeling skills, texturing, final model, rendered output and additional environmental objects (if used). There would not be any credits for animation. Max limit of team: 2 members Time limit: 4 hours Software: 3ds max 7 |
Animation contest: Participants would be required to animate a scene (the characters can be provided by us in case you can't come up with your own idea) for up to 30 seconds in length. Hint: It would be better if you gain a basic knowledge of biped animation and the method of Physique application to a biped, in case you intend to show character animation. Max limit of team: 2 members Time limit: 5 hours Software: 3ds max 7 |
