| Introduction |
Umang is the India's biggest inter college film festival. It is not just about movie shows and red carpets. It's about the spirit of multimedia, both motion and print. Umang08 takes this spirit beyond the barriers and strives to give it to the today's students, who are going to be tomorrow's leaders. Umang08 would involve invaluable expert lectures, panel discussions on media and multimedia, premieres, workshops on animation, video journalism and print journalism. There would of course be movie shows and the traditional contests taken to modernization like the documentary making contest, animation contest, ad making and short film contest. This year, the new comer in this series would be the contests on print media and journalism! So, get ready to see what this Umang has got for you. |
