Since the advent of this great institution, IIT Kanpur has a vision to provide quality technical education and act as a rostrum for scientific research, and a mission to develop human potential to its greatest degree, and in accordance with this vision, IIT Kanpur has maintained an exemplary share of contribution to this world. Recent years have witnessed the emergence of IITK as a top technological institute in India. The students of IITK are cherry picked group. They have been chosen through a process that makes IITK the toughest institute to get an admission to. Today IITK is considered a global brand and in acquiring this position ,the major contribution has come from our alumni. The students come from varied educational and cultural backgrounds. The programs are designed to instill innovation, leadership, team work and global focus into its participants.
