Sagar Chakraborty

Sagar Chakraborty had submitted his Ph.D. thesis on "Turbulence in Rotating Fluids" (done under the supervision of Prof. Jayanta Kumar Bhattacharjee and Prof. Partha Guha) in November 2008 as a post-B.Sc. integrated student at S. N. Bose National Center for Basic Sciences, Kolkata, where he also earned his M.Sc. degree in physics in 2005. Afterwards, he worked as an independent post-doctoral fellow at NBIA, Niels Bohr Institute (Copenhagen, Denmark) till he joined the Department of Physics, IITK on 30th November, 2012.

He is a theoretical physicist whose current research interests are in the broad topics of Nonlinear Dynamical Systems.
