PROFESSOR

Dr.  Asima Pradhan joined the Department in 1993. She obtained her doctoral degree at the City University, New York, USA, working under the supervision of Prof.  Robert R. Alfano. Subsequently she carried out postdoctoral research at the University of Montreal, Canada.'

She is a laser physicist, whose chief interest lies in biomedical optics. Currently, she is working on Fluorescence and Raman Spectroscopy of Biosamples.
