Applications are invited for a Project Associate to work in a DRDO project titled "Attitude from vector observation" at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Indian Institute of Technology - Kanpur.

The salary is in the range of Rs. 15000 -30000 per month (consolidated).

The position is temporary and the appointment will be made for seven months.

Minimum qualications : MS/MSc in Mathematics/Statistics or B.Tech in any discipline.

Desired skills: Knowledge of C/C++ programming language.
Working knowledge of Unix/Linux operating system. Familiarity with Matlab and Message Passing Interface (MPI) for parallel computing will be added advantage.
