Applications are invited from highly motivated candidates for the Electrical Engineering Department at IIT Kanpur on purely temporary and contractual basis initially for a period upto 28.04.2014 and can extended on yearly basis (subject to noteworthy performance).

Position : Project Manager (One post)

Salary : Rs.20000-2000-40000 (Consolidated). Higher start may be considered for exceptionally qualified and experienced candidates)

Qualification : Post graduate degree + 8 years relevant experience OR Graduate with 20 years relevant experience OR (CA/ICWA/CS) + 2 years relevant experience of supervisory work in a Govt. office or in educational Institute or in business organization of repute. Exceptional candidates not having required experience will also be considered.

Desirable Experience : The candidate should be able to handle project related documents, accounts and maintaining official records of the project. He/she should be able to carry out a range of administrative tasks, depending on the requirement from time to time, by the department.
