Applications are invited for one Project Scientist position for the CSIR sponsored project, titled " Water Reaction at the Transition-Metal Center and Its Applications in Catalytic Organometallic Processes" tenable at the Department of Chemistry, IIT Kanpur under the supervision of the undersigned. The project will involve the synthesis, characterization, catalytic evaluation and computational study of transition metal compounds. Candidate with knowledge on the inorganic reaction mechanism, catalysis and DFT calculation are requested to apply.

Emoluments: Rs. 15,000-1500-30000 per month

The position is temporary for 3 months initially, but can be extended further depending on satisfactory performance.

Educational Qualification: B. Tech or M. Sc. with Ph.D.
