Applications are invited for one post of Project Associate in a DST sponsored project titled, “Dye sensitized hybrid solar cells in UP conversion nanostructured for enhanced efficiency” in the Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT Kanpur.

Minimum Qualification: BTech OR M.Sc(Physics)

Desired Qualification: The applicant should have a strong background of includes synthesis of doped metal oxide nanoparticals, Analysis using Photoluminescence Spectroscopy, X-Ray Diffraction and scanning Electron Microscopy. Thin Film fabrication is used to prepare photo-anode of solar cell. Efficiency and I-V characterization using Solar Simulator. Python and Matlab simulation is used to analyze the data

Salary Range: Rs. 15000-1500-30000.

The post is purely temporary, and is for duration up to 14.03.2014.
