| Conceived, developed, and operated the National Programme on Earthquake Engineering Education with the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt of India with the objective of developing earthquake engineering in the colleges of engineering, architecture and polytechnics in India. The programme was operational during 2003-07, and was executed by the seven IITs and IISc Bangalore at a total expenditure of ~ Rs 12 crores (US$ ~ 2.6 million) with Professor Jain as its National Coordinator. |
