Inauguration of Hall VIII

Hall VIII is the latest edition which was inaugurated by Prof. S. G. Dhande, Director IIT Kanpur in the presence of Prof. Kripashanker, Dy. Director, Prof. E. Venkatesan, Prof. Deepak Kunzru, Prof. Gautam Biswas, Prof. P. K. Kalra, Dr. Munmun Jha, Dr. Ravi Shanker, Shri Niranjan Dass, Dr. D. K. Singh and Shri Rajeev Kumar, Shri R. K. Sachan and Ravi Shukla.

Shri Santosh Kumar, Superintending Engineer & Head, Institute Works Department, stated that it is a State-of-Art building with all modern facilities required for all round personality development of the students. Internet and telephone connections in all single seated rooms, energy saving lighting fixtures and timer switches, modern toilets for each wing, indoor sports facilities, conference hall, shopping centre, computer room, music and hobby centre, advanced dining & cooking facilities, covered parking for each block etc. are some of them.
