The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at IIT Kanpur offers separate Ph.D. programs in Mathematics and Statistics. Applications received till April 16, 2012 will be considered for admissions in the academic session 2012-2013-I, commencing from July 25, 2012.
Only shortlisted candidates are called for a written test and the candidates who qualify in the written test will be interviewed.
