Carrom is a board game that requires careful planning of moves, a light touch and a sharp eye. It's like billiards, with an ice-hockey twist -- players take turns to knock pucks into pockets of a smooth square board by hitting them with a "striker", propelled by a flick of the fingers.

Teams:

• Open to all -- just one category for both men and women.
• 2 players per team.
• Registration is required, but if you turn up at the venue with a team, we'll do our best to accommodate you if we have space.

Rules:

• Standard carrom rules apply. Modifications will be announced well in advance by the organizers, who will also clarify rules at the venue.
• The format of the tournament (knockout or league) will be decided once registration is over and we know how many teams are participating.
