Shri Giriraj Kishore awarded Padma Shree Award-2007

Shri Giriraj Kishore has been conferred with Padma Shree Award - 2007 on 26th January, 2007 for his notable work in Literature and Education. Shri Giriraj Kishore was the registrar at IIT Kanpur from 1-12-1975 to 27-11-1983.

He was designated as Head, Centre for Creative Writing and Publication in the institute. He superannuated from the service of the Institute with effect from 31-7-1997.
