        Original contributions based on theoretical research, simulation, experimental work, design, development, testing and measurements are solicited for presentation at the conference. All the accepted papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings. The scope of the conference includes, but is not limited to, the following topics:

  • Coding Theory

  • Signal Processing Theory

  • Detection and Estimation Theory

  • Speech Processing

  • Modulation Techniques

  • Audio Processing

  • Wireless Communications

  • Image and Multidimensional Signal Processing

  • Multi-user Communications

  • Computer Vision and Multimedia Applications

  • Ultra-Wideband Communications

  • Networks: Performance, Protocols & Security

  • RF and Microwave Communications

  • Wireless Ad Hoc and Sensor Networks

  • Digital Switching

  • Optical Systems and Networks

 

            Prospective authors must submit the full paper in camera-ready form (maximum 5 pages of A4 size, all inclusive, text font size 10 pt., double column). The first page must include the title together with the names of the authors, their affiliations, e-mail addresses and the abstract. To submit a paper, please access the web-based submission interface at http://202.141.40.217/NCC07/ . If for some reason you are unable to access this site, kindly contact ncc@iitk.ac.in.

Proposals are also invited for Tutorials on current topics in communications and signal processing. Proposals for industry presentations, product development sessions, panel discussions and exhibitions are also welcome.

Important Deadlines

(a) For papers

•  Complete camera-ready paper due: September 25

•  Notification of acceptance: November 21, 2006.

•  Registration by at least one author of each accepted paper: December 16, 2006.

(b) For other conference activities
