Particularly exciting opportunities await interdisciplinary teams with complementary expertise in the dynamic fields of materials science, spectroscopy, surface science and atomic-scale imaging. The objective of the Symposium is to assemble a unique blend of internationally renowned speakers that will cover recent advances in various technologies used for material characterization and imaging. A detailed understanding of unique methodologies for material characterization is essential to advance the state of the art and to increase knowledge in emerging multidisciplinary fields. The symposium will bring together investigators from different scientific disciplines such as physics, chemistry and materials science to share expertise and to foster a trans-disciplinary approach for the development and application of the materials in the industry. This unique event will be exploited to discuss emerging research and to expose researchers and graduate students to progress in essential research techniques. Symposium Highlights:
