Awards and Honours

Prof. Y.D. Vankar and Prof. R.N. Mukherjee, Department of Chemistry, have been selected for the Bronze Medals of Chemical Research Society of India.

Professor S.R. Doradla, Department of Electrical Engineering, has been selected for 16th IETE-Bimal Bose Award of the IETE in recognition of his distinguished contribution in the field of "Power Electronics in the Broadest Sense".

Professor G.C. Ray, Department of Electrical Engineering, has been selected for the 12th IETE-Hari Ramji Toshniwal Gold Medal of the IETE in recognition of his outstanding innovations in Design, Development and Fabrication of Speech Synthesizer, Myoelectric Artificial Hand and Dysarthria.

Professor, Kalyanmoy Deb, Department of Mechanical Engineering, has been selected as a Board Member of the International Internet Journal "Refractory Metals.com"

Professor Deepak Kunzru, Department of Chemical Engineering, was invited to serve as a memeber of the Advisory Council for R&D Programme of the Gas Authority of India Limited, New Delhi.
