1. I am not able to login/ I see message 'Wrong username or password'. How do I login?
Ans. Click On Sign up and go to Finatics registration page in Events tab. Register there and Come back to stocksim site. After that Click here and set your username for stocksim site. and you are done. You can login with username you have setup and Password.
2. What is account value?
Ans. Account Value = cash + total value of shares held at that time.
3. How do I start trading?
Ans. Go to Buy Stocks page or Request Stocks page or Short Sell page,select the stock you want to trade and place your order.
4. How do I sell my stock?
Ans. Go to your Portfolio and click on the SELL button adjacent to the share you want to sell .Then type the quantity and you have the option of previewing and submitting your order.
5. What is Request Stocks?
Ans.This applies the concept of limit order.Basically you can request to buy or sell(by clicking Request button adjacent to share) at a price which you wish to.If that price is reached in a trading day,your order is completed,otherwise not.
6. What is short sell?
Ans.It is,in simplest of terms,selling before buying.This enhances the chances of making profit even when market is on a downslide[which it is right now :( ].You can buy back the shares whenever you like within that particular day,otherwise it will be automatically bought at the price at the end of the day.The Art of Short Selling.

8. How do I know the performance of any particular stock?
Ans. Click on Stock Watch link located to your left and select the stock you are interested in.
9. How much I pay for each transaction?
Ans.The transactions that one makes in stock market are made through brokerage firm which charge for each transaction. This value is 0.05% of the total transaction that you make.
10. Are the prices of stocks shown actual?
Ans.The prices of shares are not generated by trading on the game but are the actual price of the stock market. The qoutes of companies are 15 minutes delayed from market.
11. "This year we add even more exciting features like Split, Dividends and Short-sell that makes the simulation even more realistic." But you have added only one feature and that is Short-sell. Will there be more features added?
Ans.The Splitting and Dividends is more of an admin operation,which we will take care of whenever it happens for a stock.Moreover its not just shortsell thats new this time round,you have limit orders as well which you can access using request stocks link.
