Hi Atul I liked you have mentioned and put forth on this page . But I would you to analyze a bit differently as to why can organzied retail never become a dominant force in India retail overall . Here’s help http://amitkumarblog.wordpress.com/2011/09/19/organized-retailing/

Also take time and find out whether organized retail only means apparel,fashion and durables ?? Or should it mean food as well which constitutes almost 60% of India’s spend but only constitutes miniscule percentage of sales for India’s retailers .

The retail industry in India is being interrupted by foreign corporate giants.As for example,the fish oil retailers can be mentioned.The only way ahead is to persuade people to appreciate country retailers and to avoid foreign giants unofficially.

Pantaloon has developed its name well. They have been doing good since launch I like the Pantaloon. I think they know how to capture the retail industry in India.
