Heating/ Colling Holders (HRTEM only)

 

 

 

For heating/ cooling stage user is requested to provide following details:

 

•     Required Temperature

 

•     Ramping rate of the temperature for e.g. 10°C/min

 

•     Melting point of the sample (in degrees celcius)

 

•     TG/DT analysis of sample

 

 

Double Tilt Heating Holder (Gatan, Model 652)

•     Number of samples (maximum 2 per slot)
•     Note:
  • Maximum temperature 900°C
  • EDS not possible (please do not request for EDS during heating of sample as it can damage the EDS detector)
  • Maximum +/- 10° tilt is available
  • Additional Rs.500 per hour will be charged after 3 hours if slot is extended

 

 

 

Cooling Stage (Gatan, Model 613)

•     Only one sample can be done in one slot
•     Maximum +/- 20°C can be achieved with cryo holder
